Why Pink Apple ? The Concept.

The artist Sophie Petit chose the rose apple for her new art concept. The symbol of the apple fascinated her since childhood. She grew up with the catholic codes where the apple represents the fruit of the original sin, the damnation out of paradise, although it is the fruit of knowledge. A paradox which leads to reflection. The woman expels man from paradise and saves mankind from stupidity and ignorance, interesting....

She therefore chose the apple as a symbol for mankind. What distinguishes the man from the animal is self-recognition and the ability to differentiate between good and evil. A symbol with which she also signs her mobile aerial sculptures, with colour schemes that lead to reverie and meditation to provoke reflection.

As an answer to the terror events, the artist wants to make an appeal to humanity and thus the wordplay "Apple = App(ea)l" was born. The pink color imposed itself naturally, that of the woman, attractive, cool, energetic and at the same time a signal colour, intensive, strong and visible to highlight the APPEAL!

When you see a pink apple, the artist appeals to your openness and your tolerance.

Act instead of ignoring, everywhere, every day, as indicated by the modified saying:

"An apple a day keeps ignorance away!"
